CUE 2017

Why you should attend: The CUE Conference is the largest and oldest education technology conference in California. What separates them is their small Presenter-to-Attendee ratios, where their sessions are built to have one presenter for every 20 attendees.

Why you should attend: This is one of the Midwest’s largest educational technology conferences with over 5000+ educators from across Michigan, the region, and Canada.


ITEC IT Conference

Why you should attend: ITEC is an established conference brand that organizes conferences around the United States. It’s affordable to attend as well.


UCET 2017

AETC IETC 2017

Location: Cambridge, MA

Why you should attend: The International Educational Technology Conference series, founded in 2001, has been all over the world. Their experience includes hosting conferences in Dubai, Malaysia, and Taiwan. This year’s edition will be at Harvard’s campus.

SETC 2017

Location: Singapore

Why you should attend: This conference was founded by former lecturers and researchers from the University of Cambridge and they try to bring the best to this conference.  Brian O’Dwyer, founder of CognaLearn, a company that helps people learn better and faster, will be one of the speakers here.

Why you should attend: There are not many details on this conference yet, but according to one participant, other EdTech events could learn a lot from this one in terms of structuring a more inclusive conference.


Magna Teaching with Technology Conference 2017

Why you should attend: With multiple concurrent sessions at the event, you can choose which sessions and topics will be right for you. More details will be announced on their page soon.


ITEC

Location: Des Moines, IA

Why you should attend: ITEC organizes events around the US. This one in Des Moines features many keynote speakers including Dr. Buddy Berry, who has a passion for reinventing the K-12 school experience.

Why you should attend: There will be over 200 sessions and workshops offered, regardless of experience level. Last year, the CEO of iNACOL gave an excellent speech on the Global Perspective on Innovation for Equity and Redefining Student Success.

WISE Summit

Why you should attend: Wise summit is known to attract worldwide attendees. Previously, it had over 1,500 attendees from over 100 countries. The NY Times said “The WISE Summit is unusual in that it brings together both decision-makers and professionals working in the field from a wide variety of sectors, both public and private, to share ideas and best practices.”
