About Rachelle

Rachelle is an edtech consultant, presenter, attorney, author, and teacher. She was named one of 30 K-12 IT Influencers for 2021 and one of the 150 Women Thought Leaders to Follow for 2022. Rachelle teaches Spanish and STEAM: What’s nExT in Emerging Technology at Riverview Junior-Senior High School in Oakmont, PA. 

Since 2019, Rachelle has written seven books. “In Other Words: Quotes That Push Our Thinking”, “Unconventional Ways to Thrive in EDU”, “The Future is Now: Looking Back to Move Ahead”, “Chart A New Course: A Guide to Teaching Essential Skills for Tomorrow’s World”, “True Story: Lessons That One Kid Taught Us”, “Your World Language Classroom: Strategies for Digital and In-Person Instruction”, and her newest book “Things I Wish […] Knew” which includes the voices of 50 educators from around the world.

Rachelle is a columnist for Getting Smart and a blogger for Defined Learning and NEO LMS. She has a podcast named, ThriveinEDU and is the host of a PBL Podcast by Defined Learning on BAM Radio Network. She has a ThriveinEDU Community and does a weekly live show with guests who speak about education.
