The following guest blog post is created by Andreea Ayers. Thank you, Andreea for sharing your story. We are sure many Piktochart users would find your story inspiring! Update: The numbers have now exceeded 2,000 re-pins on Pinterest! *jaw drop* I’ve always heard that infographics have the ability to go viral really quickly, but I didn’t have the budget (or time) to create an infographic for my business, Launchgrowjoy. So when I came across Piktochart, I decided to finally go for it, get a subscription and take a shot at creating my first infographic. I decided to create an infographic based around ways you can promote your blog posts. I made a list of 30 ways to promote your blog posts and a few hours later I had my first infographi I posted the infographic on my website, Launchgrowjoy, on Thursday, October 11, 2012 and the same day I pinned it to Pinterest, shared it on Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon and LinkedIn and sent an email to my list. By the next day, I had over 400 people who re-pinned it on Pinterest and over 600 new visitors to my website. Then, the following Monday I reached out to some top bloggers and websites and, by next Sunday the infographic was shared over 1000 times on Pinterest, I had over 11,000 pageviews and over 6,000 visits to my website as a result of the infographic. Web Traffic increase graph The response by other top bloggers to my infographic was great. Over 100 of them shared it on their own websites (although I think that # is actually higher, but I’m not sure how to track it). When I search for my infographic title, over 11,000 results come up! Traffic continues to come in on a steady basis and, to date, that page on my blog is the most popular one out of every piece of content that I’ve written.

I’m already working on my second infographic!
