At Piktochart, we have been working tirelessly to constantly improve our UI. As we are approaching Demo Day in Chinaccelerator, we have been bogged by things like the pitch, presentation decks, getting all gears running.
But there is one thing we must not forget. We have been getting lots of feedback from our visitors which includes the inconsistency on the fonts, clutter on the website. We have taken it all into account.
We were originally fascinated with the idea of having a “processor” where you could chuck in all data, want to not use Photoshop, Illustrator in order to create wonderful presentations…. and therefore, there was the idea of Robot, whom we have recently named Androt. As dry as the name sounds, Androt has been key in driving Piktochart’s growth and idea over the past 3 months. Androt is a black box, but what is impressive is that it sits there to generate anything you want it to, as long as you put in the right data and story and settings (theme), you get a presentation that you want. If all you enter is junk data and little story, Androt can generate a junk presentation without story.
In the latest revamp, we are keeping the website much cleaner while maintaining elements from the original website. You will recognize the laboratory settings in the background and the product features that we have created. With one font. We finally all settled on Museo Sans. Easy to read and embeddable.
Farewell, Piktochart Alpha. We are now welcoming the newer version. Please let us know what are your thoughts of the new www.piktochart.com compared to the old one.
